At Pewa™ Retreats, food is nourishment, relationship, and practice. Our meals are farm-to-table and gathered from the ʻāina — grown, harvested, and prepared in collaboration with local mahiʻai farmers and nearby farms who steward the land with care. We embrace simple living: seasonal ingredients, minimally processed foods, and shared preparation as a way to reconnect with where nourishment truly comes from. Each meal honors the ʻāina that feeds us, the hands that grow our food, and the understanding that eating well is an act of mālama, gratitude, and restoration.

Wellness at Pewa™ Retreats is offered as a lived, relational practice — not a performance. Daily experiences are designed to support regulation, restoration, and awareness through gentle movement, breath, sound, and time in nature. Practices are accessible to all levels and may include grounding movement, guided meditation, forest bathing walks, sound healing, journaling, and water or fire ceremonies.
Each day unfolds with care and spaciousness, allowing participants to slow down, listen to their bodies, and engage at their own pace. With an intimate retreat size, guidance is personalized and responsive, creating a supportive environment for deep rest, reflection, and reconnection of body, mind, and spirit.

Pewa™ Retreat accommodations vary with each gathering. We intentionally work with different retreat centers and locations across Hawaiʻi, choosing spaces that align with the land, the season, and the spirit of the retreat. Each location is selected for its ability to support rest, simplicity, and connection to ʻāina
.
Details for accommodations are shared with participants in advance of each retreat, with the understanding that place itself is part of the teaching — offering a unique experience every time we gather.
